Many people ask us... Where did we get the name TOM TOM?
Truth is Tom Tom's Father's name was also named Tom. When Tom Tom was little they called him "little
Tom". By age 6 or 7 He didn't like being called "little" So his Nauny (Grandmother) Just started calling
Him Tom Tom. Ever since, all of our friends, family and customers call him Tom Tom.

Well it all started when He was a young gun, looking for something more than
delivering papers or picking tobacco. His father hired him at 15 years old to paint the
family home. He went to the library, checked out some information and started to
prepare the house to paint. Up the street there was a job being started by a well
known local painting company. They drove by each day to work and saw Tom Tom
out there working hard painting. They stopped and asked if he wanted to help down
the street, telling him, the pay sure beat what the other kids were doing in the
neighborhood.
Every summer came and every summer Tom Tom painted. That was over 33 years
ago. Ever since then Tom Tom Painting and crews have been painting and plastering
inside and out, with "Old Timers" and "New Cowboys". They have worked through
the years with the best professionals and the worst hacks you could ever imagine.
They learned a lot from the best and just as much, if not more, from the worst. We
have a "No Hacks" policy. We do not contract with or work with hackers or slackers
and have zero tolerance to either. This is the only advertising we have done. 98%
has been all word of mouth and referral.
We are a Woman owned painting contractor and only work with proven, quality
painting contractors and artists that are reliable, insured, and professional.
